“ Traveling across country and pulled off the interstate to take a break here. Got a couple of breakfast burritos to go. Food was obviously freshly prepared and perfectly seasoned. Service was super friendly. ”
“ We go through Tucumcari about 8 times each year - 4 on our way to Kansas City and Minneapolis and 4 on the way back. When we stay in Tucumcari, Kix is the only place we even consider for breakfast. Yes, the hotels serve breakfast, but ....... At Kix, the eggs are cooked the way you like them, the home made sausage is wonderful, biscuits are good sized and fluffy, bacon is crisp, pancakes are plentiful, the gravy is spicy (oh, baby is it good), and there is a plethora of New Mexican and other southwest dishes available. Service is always friendly and efficient. Perhaps, best of all, prices are such you won't even think about regretting not having that hotel "included in the price of your room" serve yourself, clean your own table, mediocre food concoction they call breakfast. Especially if you're old enough to remember any of Route 66, you need to be here to get your Kix. ”
